Maps of the World

Among the new pieces in Patek Philippe 's Rare Handcrafts collection, two share a close common point : a map of the world combining engraving and enamel . A/ CALATRAVA MINUTE REPEATER AND WORLD TIME REF. 5531G-010 “PLANISPHERE” This reference is a limited

5227G salmon

Managed to try this at my AD, am surprised they already have it I find the hands and hr indices too intensely black, same as the 6196P salmon.. not very convinced

Given that I have a recently discontinued AD I am currently focused on discontinued references :-)

More seriously, I have always had a soft spot for the celestial complication and the 6105G is very cool but it is also out of reach. The 5610/1P is lovely but in a small collection it would only make sense instead of my blue 5711/1A which has been getting

I like the lugless case of the 6105..

But 47mm is very large even for a lugless watch.. in any case, it’s cool to see a lugless patek case I particularly like the 5810/1G and 5227G Finally a dateless 2 hand nautilus and it’s nice that they reworked the 5227 case to thicken the bezel.. the pre

Thanks for sharing such a great story with us Gordan.

Wonderful background behind how this Grand Master Chime 5175R #1 was delivered. True respect to CCB's' late father as the legendary Patek collector.

Hi All, This post is the third and final chapter of cbb’s and her late father LPPC’s (Legendary Patek Philippe Collector) horological stories, and to me the MOST special one because it involves the Grand Master Chime 5175R !

If the first two chapters were about a legendary collector's journey and his daughter's own path, this one is about something deeper, Friendship and Legacy, and a moment that left everyone in the room speechless ! A friendship beyond horology To truly und

another wonderful expose .You are right these watches were ( and currently are ) not desirable In fact I think they may be trading below retail price_ I am not sure

There are a number of anniversary pieces that have not been financial successes for a number of reasons . The 5975 is an interesting watch with a dial that people either love or hate. I am in the former. The pusher story related thee movement as the pushe
